Machado’s History

Machado Construction Co., Inc. was established in 1985 by Mario Machado, after spending many years working in the concrete construction industry.

As the construction operations expanded, the need for recycling of excavated concrete materials became apparent and in 2004 Machado Construction Co. Inc. opened its Lansdowne location concrete recycling dump facilities with concrete crushing and recycled aggregate sales.

The company’s Lansdowne Ready Mix Concrete Plant was opened in 2008 and has since become a leader in the Baltimore Area, with a fleet size of 24 ready mix transit trucks and the capability to handle jobs of any size. We have since erected a second concrete plant at our Lansdowne location to increase production and service our customers even better.

Support Our Troops

Machado has been a strong supporter of Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes since 2006. The Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes helps severely wounded veterans and families of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation New Dawn recover from their injuries and illnesses.
